Chainkeep Terms of Use

Last updated 26 September 2026. Applies to Chainkeep for Android and iOS.

Chainkeep is free to use. Chainkeep Pro is a one-time purchase that you keep for life. There is no subscription, no renewal and no trial.

Using Chainkeep

By installing or using Chainkeep, you agree to these terms. You may use the app for your own personal use. Please don't copy, resell or reverse engineer it.

Chainkeep Pro

Chainkeep Pro is a single, lifetime purchase. You pay once and keep Pro for as long as the app is available on your store. It never renews, it has no free trial, and there is nothing to cancel.

On both platforms, Pro adds unlimited habits and reminders and archiving. On Android it also adds the heatmap widget, widget themes and a daily backup to a folder you choose; on iPhone, it adds iCloud sync. Every stat stays free without it.

Payments and refunds

Purchases are processed by Google Play on Android, and by the App Store on iPhone. Your purchase is subject to the store's own terms and refund policy. We never see your payment details and can't issue refunds ourselves, so refund requests go through the store you bought from.

Restoring Pro

  • Use Restore purchases in the app to bring Pro back on a new phone, or after reinstalling, when you're signed in to the same Google Play or App Store account you bought it with.
  • Chainkeep has no account of its own, so a purchase stays with its store. A purchase on Android doesn't unlock Pro on iPhone, and one on iPhone doesn't unlock it on Android.

Your data

Your habits and history live on your device, as theprivacy policy explains. You're responsible for keeping backups of them: you can export everything at any time from Settings, Your data. We have no copy of your data and can't recover it if your device is lost or the app is removed.

No warranty

Chainkeep is provided as is, without any warranty. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the app, including lost habit data. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Using Chainkeep after a change means you accept the new terms.
